Special eBay Feature in a Digital Camera
by Brandon Layne

I used to run a photo hosting service for people looking for cheap ways to add photos to their eBay auctions, so when I ran across a digital camera with a feature designed specifically for eBay’ers - my interest was piqued.

After looking a little closer, I found that there are actually a number of models in the Casio Exilim line with this particular feature, so besides catering to that particular market, they can also offer it in a range of prices.

Basically, this feature will create images already optimized for the web so that they are already in a smaller form factor and are compressed for quicker download. Eliminating the need to use image editing software to do these things before uploading your photos, makes it just that much easier to create your eBay auctions.

The smallest of these is the Casio Exilim EX-Z60. Easy to use and easy to carry, the EX-Z60 offers 6.0 megapixel images with a 3X optical zoom. Its full set of features includes Anti Shake DSP, Auto Macro, 3 flashes per second, eBay Best Shot and “Old Photo” Best Shot.

Stylish and pocket-sized, the Casio Exilim EX-Z600 delivers 6.0 megapixel photos and features an extra large 2.7-inch Super Bright LCD. The EX-Z600 also includes Rapid Flash, which allows you to take three consecutive, high speed flash photos in one second and the eBay Mode. You’ll get up to 550 shots per charge.

The latest in the Casio Exilim line, the EX-Z850 delivers 8.1 megapixel photos with a 3X optical zoom. Its eBay Best Shot mode optimizes images for display and sale on eBay. The EX-Z850 has a Super Bright LCD which is 3 times brighter and Anti Shake DSP which reduces blurred images. You can also capture up to 440 shots on a single battery charge.
